To remove password protection on the file sent to you from Niantic --

1. Unzip the file (using the password sent to you) on your machine. This will create a directory named with your email address or trainer info.

2. Create a new zip file without password protection. To do this

a) On a Mac, right click on the folder in Finder and click 'Compress "folder name"'

b) On a PC, right click on the folder in Windows Exporer and select "Send to" and then select "Compressed (zipped) folder".
